Bath City Farm has been short listed to compete in the Cash For Your Community £12,000 cash giveaway. The top prize will be £5,000, and there will also be awards of £3,000, £1,000, two grants of £500, four of £250, and a further 11 of £100.

Bath Chronicle will be printing voting tokens every week from Thursday January 26th until Thursday 23rd and the aim is to collect and submit as many tokens aspossible. You can also vote online at www.facebook.com/prideinbath.

Bath City Farm would really appreciate if you could collect the tokens and either send them into the chronicle or bring them into the office at the farm. The money will be used run 'young farmer', a club for 5 to 10 year olds. The group is thriving with approximately 15 children attending each week from the local area. Activities include growing vegetables, looking for wildfood, tracking animal footprints, learning about wildlife and looking after the animals. Through these activities, we have been able to break down barriers, challenge negative perceptions and build friendships.
