Alternative Provision Session Leader

Bath City Farm are recruiting for an Alternative Provision Session Leader to join our Children, Young People and Families team. The role will work with children aged 5 to 16 and will lead alternative provision sessions and youth sessions for our funded group Farm Hands (ages 11 to 16).

Across all sessions you will be engaging children in a wide variety of outdoor learning activities including animal care, crafting, mindfulness, gardening, cooking, woodwork, and conservation tasks across our 37 acres of food growing spaces, community spaces, grassland, wildflower meadows and woodland.

We are looking for an experienced, creative and caring individual with a keen interest in nature and wildlife, who is passionate about supporting children to realise their potential.

Key Information

Hours
14.5 hours/week working on Thursdays (8.5 hours) and Fridays (6 hours) term time only
Fixed term contract for 1 year with the possibility of extension
Salary
£25,687 pro rata (actual salary for 14.5 hours/week term time only £8,710)
