Alternative Provision Session Leader & Farm Hands Project CoordinatoR – maternity cover

23.5 hours/week working on Mondays (9am to 5pm) and Tuesdays (9am to 6pm) and Friday (9am to 5pm) term time only

Fixed term contract to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months from January 2027

Bath City Farm are recruiting for a role of two parts – to lead Alternative Provision sessions and to plan, deliver and coordinate our after-school Youth Group.

Across all sessions you will be engaging children in a wide variety of outdoor learning activities including animal care, crafting, mindfulness, gardening, cooking, woodwork, and conservation tasks across our 37 acres of food growing spaces, community spaces, grassland, wildflower meadows and woodland. For a small number of pupils you will deliver a City & Guilds qualification in Land-Based Skills, guiding pupils to handle animals safely.

We are looking for an experienced, creative and caring individual with a keen interest in nature and wildlife, who is passionate about supporting children to realise their potential.

Salary: £15,489 for 23.5 hours/week term time only (full year full time equivalent £28,185.
