Dawn Chorus Walk

🐦 Join us for a very special Dawn Chorus at Bath City Farm…

Led by Nature Guide Nick Patel of ‘Wilder Skies’ this will not be one to miss!

Dawn Chorus is one of the most beautiful events in nature of the year, experiencing the peak of bird song on the farm, alongside a beautiful sunrise… Getting involved in one of these special annual events, allows you to immerse yourself in nature at a time we wouldn’t ordinarily be out in the wild.

Nick will take you through the various species of birds which call Bath City Farm home during summertime. He will educate you on the different songs and how to identify the different species. Along the short walk, the special habitats of the farm will be highlighted, bringing the diverse wildlife on site to life during this magical dawn experience.

Dawn is an amazing time to experience all kinds of fantastic spring wildlife, not just the birds. Nick will take you through spring wildflowers, early insects and others, during the walk.

This is a great event for those wanting to learn more about birds, a beginner to birdwatching, or just someone who wants to see the farm from a whole other perspective. Bath City Farm has been creating and maintain some important habitats on site for a plethora of breeding and visiting bird species.

Birds we should expect to see/hear on the day include: Song Thrush, Blackbird, Wren, Greenfinch, Chaffinch, Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Swallow, Buzzard and many more!

After the walk we will gather to have a well deserved hot drink, pastries and chat about what we’ve seen.

Join nature’s incredible symphony this May 16th 🐦
