🐐 GOAT GROOMING
🌿NATURE WALK
🪴COMPOSTING WORKSHOP
Learn how we make rich, sustainable compost here on the farm.
Jude, our Growing Lead, will explain the basics of composting, including why it’s so important, show you how to start or improve your own nutrient-rich compost at home, and give you a tour of the ways we compost the food waste and plant matter at the farm.
We consider the food waste, weeds and other plant matter a resource. We turn it all into nutrient-rich compost which is used in the market garden and polytunnels to grow more food – completing a circular system with the organic waste.
🌻BEHIND THE SCENES GROWING TOUR
The last few years have seen some big changes at the farm when it comes to growing! Take a guided tour through our new polytunnels to discover what these important spaces are producing. Wander through the Cafe Garden and see what we’ll be cooking with in the weeks and months to come. And learn more about exciting plans for the farm’s future when it comes to selling fresh produce to the local community 😊 Our experienced growing team will lead the tour, showing you around and answering your questions. The tour will start and end at the Farm Office, so meet here before you head off…
🏵️🌷See you in the sunshine!🌷🏵️
