Join us next month for an exciting new woodworking workshop!

We are hosting an exciting new Green Woodworking Workshop here at the farm on Saturday the 29th of July between 9.30 AM and 1.30 PM. This workshop will be led by Joe Keppie-Bray, who loves crafting with natural materials and has been practising the art of green woodworking for many years. He enjoys sharing his passion for green crafts and teaching people about the natural world in relaxed and exploratory workshops.

We are very lucky to have Joe running this practical and educational workshop at Bath City Farm. The course will include learning about the types and nature of wood as you select and cut the piece of wood you will then work on. Using a number of hand tools, you will shape and carve out your own spatula to take home and use for years to come. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about working with wood and return home with something you can treasure.

Please bring a packed lunch or alternatively, our farm café will be open with a selection of food and drinks available. A small snack and drinks will be provided.

This hands-on physical activity includes walking into the woods on uneven ground, so please dress appropriately. If you have any additional needs, please contact the farm and we can discuss how to support your access to the workshop. On-site parking and bike locks are available. Tickets cost £40 (£25 concessions) and are available to book via our Eventbrite link: https://Greenwoodworking.eventbrite.com?aff=oddtdtcreator

We look forward to seeing you there!
