Green Woodworking Workshop – Make a spoon

Make your own wooden spoon from cutting the branch through to carving out decorative details on this half day workshop.

Joe Keppie-Bray loves crafting with natural materials and has been practicing the art of green wood working for many years. He enjoys sharing his passion for green crafts and teaching people about the natural world in relaxed and exploratory workshops.

We are very lucky to have Joe running this practical and educational workshop here at Bath City Farm.

The course will include learning about the types and nature of wood as you select and cut the piece of wood you will then work on. Using a number of hand tools, you will shape and carve out your own spatula to take home and use for years to come.

Please bring a packed lunch. The farm café will be open. A small snack and drinks will be provided.

This is a hands on physical activity including walking into the woods on uneven ground. Please dress weather appropriately. If you have any additional needs please reach out to the farm and we can discuss how to support your access to the workshop.

On-site parking and bike locks are available.
